Epson - PhotoPC 700

Apart from the change in colour, from silver to black, the Epson PhotoPC 700 looks very similar to its predecessor, the PhotoPC 600. It is roughly the same size as a conventional 35mm film camera, with ...

This is a proper camera, not a toy, so it doesn't have as much 'pub cred' as some of the smaller, more gadgety devices available. But it does produce outstanding digital images, has good PC and Macintosh connectivity, and the ability to print directly...

A rugged, reliable camera worth owning.

I have to say, I'm surprised at how much I"ve used my Epson PhotoPC 700.

Very sturdy, very comfortable in the hand, good pictures.

No firewire/USB, a little larger than some, slight distortion at some angles.

Who Needs Film?

I've had my Epson PhotoPC 700 for some time now and can't remember what it was like not to have it. Probably one of the best investments I have ever made. Not only do I never have to wait for film to be developed, but I can also view my pictures...

No more film to purchase or fees for developing film.

Not real good at quick shots.

size, quality of photos, features, ease of use.

E in Epson is for ease

The first time I picked up an Epson 700 camera, I was sold. The sales clerk told me that anyone could operate this camera. And she was right.I had owned a PC for a very short time, and I was not that familiar with creating files, downloading,or printing...

Buy this one used

A good recreational camera, the PhotoPC 700 is beginning to show it's age as new products, specifically offerings from Kodak and Nikon and even newer Epson models come down in price.

Easy to use, shaped like a normal camera, good price-performance match.

Aging when compared to newer models.
