Fujifilm - FinePix 6800 Zoom

Alone among the cameras reviewed here, the Fujifilm has an all-metal case, and one designed by FA Porsche, no less. Adhering to Fujifilm's favoured vertical design, the camera takes a bit of getting used to, but ...

Fujifilm FinePix 6800 Zoom

This small, Porsche-styled digicam looks fabulous and takes good pictures, but the controls don't quite live up to the nameplate.

The FinePix 6800 Zoom's high-quality construction, diminutive size, and above-average performance make it an excellent choice for people who are willing to pay for high resolution in a small, sturdy package.

Fujifilm FinePix 6800 Zoom

On the 1st February this year Fujifilm announced twonew digital cameras, the 4800Z and 6800Z to supersede their popular 4700Zmodel. Both cameras shared the same new (but still familiar) "Porschedesign" case and 3x optical zoom, however the 6800Z...

Relatively good 3+ megapixel resolution ; Excellent, vivid, yet accurate colour reproduction ; 6 megapixel mode good for large prints straight out of the camera ; Images seldom need any post-processing ; Virtually no chromatic aberrations ; Compact...

No creative controls in continuous shooting mode ; Only one movie mode setting (320 x 240, 10 fps) ; Still no option to have LCD on at startup ; Lens distortion / unsharp in corners ; Lens barrel distortion at wide angle ; No manual exposure features...

The Fujifilm FinePix 6800Z is a well built, sleek designed, high resolution compact digital camera. Its image quality can be comparedwith some of the best of the current three megapixel crowd and it is alsocapable produce large file sizes which are...

Fuji FinePix 6800 Zoom

Like the 911, the FinePix 6800 has an impressive design, lots of features, and excellent performance. It uses an updated version of Fuji's exclusive SuperCCD, now at 3.3 Megapixels. It can produce images with 6 million pixels (2832 x 2128)! Let's do a...

Really nice looking camera, great usability ; Very good photo quality ; Cradle a very nice addition ; Movie, audio, video conferencing - the works ; Fast processing speeds

No optical zoom in movie mode ; Playback mode could use some more features ; No manual controls ; Too expensive

I really like the Fuji FinePix 6800 Zoom, but I'd like it a lot more if it was less expensive. Its got a smorgasbord of features and a slick design -- digital cameras aren't just for still photos anymore, as Fuji has shown. The camera takes nice high...

Definitely a looker

I bought this camera a year and a half ago. I was looking for a decent digital point and shoot with movie mode AND SOUND (which many digital cameras with movie mode don't have) because I was sick of carrying around a huge single lens reflex. This ...

Sleek look, small size, and versatility of settings. Love the audio recording feature too.

Manual flash is a pain to remember to activate. Auto focus is terrible.

Nice Camera - Attracts lot of attention in a room

I have in the past one year bought over 8 different Digital Camera ranging from Nikon 880, Olympus C3000, Fuji 2800 and Toshiba M81 are few to be named.

Excellent Colors, Decent Macro Photos, Very Compact and Quick to Launch

Flash could have been a little more powerful, Definately need a 64MB Smart Card

Great starter camera

I ripped off the wrapping, and what did I see? A sleek, well sized digital camera, just like I'd asked for?

Great size, docking station, decent zoom, simple options, good software

niggling interface things, movie option is just a tack-on, almost TOO small for larger hands
