Fuji Finepix A310 Digital Camera Camera

What's Hot: If you're shopping for an inexpensive digital camera, a good strategy is to put an optical zoom lens before resolution, because zooming in on a subject usually works better than magnifying and cropping a shot in software (and zoom lenses...

Fujifilm FinePix A310

It's inexpensive for a zoom-capable camera, but this budget model's controls are arranged poorly.

The FinePix A310 takes good pictures for the money, but the controls layout may aggravate the very audience it's aimed at.

FujiFilm FinePix A310

The FujiFilm FinePix A310 touts 6-megapixel quality for a 3-megapixel price, but does it deliver?

The A310 is a well-priced, easy-to-use 3-megapixel digital camera, but it doesn't measure up to the quality of competitors such as the Kodak EasyShare DX6340. And definitely don't expect this camera to give you high-quality 6-megapixel images.

Fuji FinePix A310

Small, compact, and lightweight, the new FinePix A310 store images on a super tiny xD-Picture Card, which helps maintain the small case size. The A310's 3.1-megapixel CCD captures high resolution images with good detail, and its largely-automatic...

Exposure remains under automatic control at all times, despite the A310's offering of both Auto and Manual exposure modes. The "Manual" setting simply expands the Record menu to include Exposure Compensation and White Balance options, as opposed to the...

Expert Review

The FinePixA310 ($299) is Fuji's lowest priced camera with a SuperCCDsensor. The 3.1 million hexagonal-shaped sensors on the SuperCCDHR sensor allow it to produce images with 6 million pixels. That doesn't make this a 6 Megapixel camera by any means...

Good value, Compact, lightweight body, Can be used as a webcam (Windows only), Optional camera dock for battery charging, photo transfer, and photo viewing on TV

Fujifilm FinePix A310

The 3.1 Megapixel Fujifilm Finepix A310 looks like a good little camera. It has a 3x optical zoom, and offers a choice of exposure modes from landscape, night scene, sport and portrait modes. It also allows a continuous shooting at 3 frames per second....

Whilst it doesn't rate as highly as some other 3 megapixel cameras it is reasonably priced and would suit a beginner quite well

Fujifilm FinePix A310

A stylish-looking camera that offers little in the way of manual settings, but whose sound image quality and value will keep it in good stead with casual shooters.
