Fujifilm FinePix S9600 review

Want SLR-style results and speed without all those lenses?

10x optical zoom lens (28-300mm equivalent) ; ISO 1600 maximum ; 1/1.6inch low noise sensor

RAW processing ; Lens speed ; Auto-focus noise

The good clearly outweighs the bad, but there are a couple of creases to be ironed out

The design of the Fujifilm FinePix S9500 is well thought-out. The buttons are in the exact right spot and carry a clear symbol. Most buttons feature a single function, which makes it well arranged and organised. It's fairly pleasant having to turn or...

Fujifilm FinePix S9600 Digital camera review

Since some time, Fujifilm has two Megazoom cameras in its program. One, the FinePix S6500fd, has been produced to target the average consumer. The other, the Fujifilm FinePix S9600, has been intended for the more serious photographer and offers, for...

The Fujifilm FinePix S9600 leaves me with mixed feelings. The camera itself is fine and feels exceptionally solid. It really seems like a camera for the serious user. This is mainly because of the lens with the real zoom ring and the fine zoom range....

This product has a great feel about it and sits great in your hands. Not too heavy to carry either. Switching from one mode to another is simple and the zoom is amazing. The clarity of the images are fantastic whether in jpeg or raw. I had heard that...

The manual setup can be a bit challenging however this is the same for most cameras and novices.

Fujifilm Finepix S9600

Excellent low light pictures. Zoom lens is very useful and because it is manually adjustable, very quick to position and no drain on the battery. I am still exploring some of the features which will move me on from my previous Fuji which was a point...

None to speak of so far as long as you take the time to read the manual and practice with the optional facilities. When things do go wrong it always something I've done
