Fujifilm FinePix Z2 review

Slimline sex appeal in a petite and stylish body

Looks great ; Easy to use ; Sharp, detailed shots ; Fast ISO

Relies on dock ; Slight colour oversaturation

Small but perfectly formed, the Z2 takes decent pictures and syncs well with a Mac.

Flash is a little slow. Needs to be connected to dock for picture exchange with computer. Colours can be a little washed out

A super-sexy ultracompact that combines beauty with functionality

Fuji FinePix Z2

Getting natural-looking shots in low light without a flash is tricky – especially for ultracompact cameras, which don't tend to have high-sensitivity ISO settings. Surprisingly, though, their ability to shoot with ease on the move means ultracompacts...

All in all a bit of a mixed bag. There are better ultracompacts around, but the FinePix Z2 is still worth considering if you want a simple operator that's serviceable and looks great.

Review: FujiFilm FinePix Z2

The Z2 is described as the "super-model" of the FujiFilm line-up, but could that make it case of style over substance? Read on to find out what we think.

The review unit we were sent is the white version of the Z2

There seems to be one serious flaw when it comes to the camera's picture quality ; when you're taking scenic or panoramic shots there is a nasty tendency to get blurring around the edges

Fuji Finepix Z2

Fuji Finepix Z2 Review and Where to Find the Best Prices. Stylish pocket sized digital camera. Feature set akin to a point and shoot digital camera.

Style and design ; Low noise at high ISO

Pixilation of pictures

The Fuji Finepix Z2 is a very pleasant digital camera. I really like the style and design. The problem for the camera is that at present prices there are better value digital cameras around.

FujiFilm FinePix Z2

Stylish and Slim, Good for Macro shots, Intuitive Menu

Low on features, No image stabilization, Noisy, Pictures lacked detail

If you're after a simple and easy to use compact camera that looks great, then the Z2 may be for you. However, don't expect a long list of features.
