Fujifilm FinePix 1300

A low price and pleasing images highlight Fujifilm's new 1.3-megapixel digital camera.

A fine, if somewhat no-frills camera for anyone who wants to take quick snapshots but not spend a pile of cash. It's a good starter camera if you are just getting into digital photography.

Fujifilm FinePix 1300

The Fuji FinePix 1300 is an entry-level 1.31 million pixel digital camera that delivers 1280 x 960 sized pictures in three different JPEG quality levels (Fine, Normal or Basic). The user can select to capture in either the 1280 x 960 size or the smaller 6

Under all but the harshest lighting conditions the camera delivers good image quality with well saturated and properly exposed colors. The flash is adequate for normal situations, just don't expect it to light up subjects beyond eight or nine feet. The 12

Fuji FinePix 1300 Digital Camera Review: Intro and Highlights

Long a powerhouse in the world of film-based photography, Fujifilm is staking out broad swaths of terrain in the digital domain as well. As evidence, we point to the number and variety of digital cameras they've introduced this year (2000). On display...

Fuji FinePix 1300

The $899 Finepix 1300 has a maximum 1280 x 960 resolution (1.2-megapixels) and its 8MB Smart Media card can store 12 images at this resolution using fine (best quality) compression. By selecting the lower 640 x 480 resolution, you can take advantage of...

Fuji FinePix 1300

The FinePix 1300 I tested is a pre-production model. Please keep in mind that the final, shipping product may differ slightly from the one reviewed here

Well designed, easy to hold body ; Easy to use menus ; USB support ; Fast startup time

Digital zoom and continuous shooting only in 640 x 480 mode ; LCD brightness issues (hopefully will be fixed in production model) ; Noise in low light situations

The Fuji FinePix 1300 is a good, entry-level camera for those wanting to try out digital photography. You won't get all the bells and whistles that you'll find on higher end cameras, but for everyday point-and-shoot action, the 1300 will do just fine.

Superb Camera From Fuji!

These quibbles are easily overlooked. The Fujifilm 2600 and 2650 and 1300 are great values in the digicam arena. They make great cameras for those just getting into the hobby. They have easy to use controls, come with a lot of extras and are relatively...

Fujifilm FinePix 1300

Compare a scooter to a motorcycle. The scooter is a fraction of the size, power, and price, but around town, the scooter is as quick and fun as the motorcycle, and you can even take it some places the motorcycle won't go. The Fuji 1300 is the digital...

Fujifilm FinePix 1300

The PC connection was easy to set up and the package comes with all the software you will need. However, the connection direct from the camera relies on a USB port so make sure your PC has one. The macro setting takes good close ups of the sort you...

Over 7 years old, still going strong!

I've had this Fuji camera for over 7 years now and it's STILL WORKING and we still use it. This is amazingly durable. The unit is nice and compact. You take it out of your pocket, snap a picture. Need a flash? It has flash. Just a plain old ...

Extremely durable, dependable. Sturdy and compact.

It's nothing fancy. No real zoom. Just point and shoot.
