Improved viewfinder ; Very good detail and colour ; Much better AF than before

Exceptional image quality at 24MP; impressive autofocus for a compact system camera (including continuous AF); exemplary viewfinder setup unlike any other; quality build with manual control dials, new joystick control, dual SD card slots

Exposure compensation lacks lock; no tilt/vari-angle or touch-based LCD; limited battery life; slow to kick-in for eye-level activation / from sleep mode; still a fairly small range of XF lenses, front dial not much use, no 4K video
