Photosmart R727 Digital Camera

The Photosmart R727 ($300 as of 6/15/06) is a well-designed, smart camera with a sturdy metal case that's thin enough to fit easily into a shirt pocket. It's a little thicker (at 0.9 inches) than the lightweight Casio SX600, but it certainly won't...

In-camera panorama stitching Good in-camera help and image advice

No aperture- or shutter-priority mode Some controls uncomfortable to use

The battery life of the camera from the small lithium ion battery was a respectable 240 shots, and we found the image quality to be good, with accurate colors and reasonable detail. The images are a little noisy, though: Even in good lighting at a low...

HP Photosmart R727

The compact camera field is a crowded one, so the Photosmart R727 has its work cut out for it. Read on to find out how it fared in our tests

Compact, stylish metal body ; Large, sharp 2.5" LCD display; good low light visibility ; Very good performance in most areas ; Adaptive Lighting feature brightens up dark areas of your photos (though noise levels go up even more) ; Tons of useful...

Noisy images; soft, smudged details; some purple fringing ; Low light focusing not great for a camera with an AF-assist lamp ; Lots of button-mashing to get to commonly used settings buried in menu ; Current zoom position not shown on LCD ; LCD...

While the Photosmart R727 has a very useful set of features, its photo quality lags behind the competition. If you're only printing 4 x 6's then maybe it's worth a look, but otherwise you'll get better photos (but fewer bells & whistles) from other...

HP Photosmart R727 Digital Camera Review

Notice the very thin body at this compact Photosmart. Sound capture is limited to 60 sec and the movie speed is only 24 fps in VGA mode 640 x 480, but the camera comes with HP still images from video so you can get the perfect action shot. HP Design...

HP Photosmart R727

The HP Photosmart R727 is a 6.2 megapixel digital camera with a large 2.5 inch LCD display and 3x Optical Zoom lens. Measuring just 92 x 23 x 61mm and weighing only 130grams the R727 fits into a pocket easily and should take a few knocks and bumps with...

Portable

The delivery was a bit long for Newegg standards. However, no big deal, I received it within a reasonable timeframe

Very nice and portable camera. Great value for the price, it's hard to find a camera with 6.2 MP at this great price

I bought this camera refurbished so I am keeping my fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong

O.O

Although it only holds up to 2 gig SD. It is a very good buy. Especially for the price, as a Recert, it was a steal ! ;) Being that it does exactly what i need it to do. Take pics and vids on the fly. The add audio feature, is another plus....

Easy setup. You can fine tune it to your liken ; Point and click. Transfer pics, and vids on the fly to computer. With ease of access, with usb cable. No software needed. (Win7 and above.) ;) ; Can also tranfer pics directly to printer, using same usb...
