This Kodak CX4200 digital camera is essientially no good at all if you want any quality comparison. I have a Nikon Coolpix 800 that I've had for 4 years, It's picture quality is WAY above this camera, and it's 4 years old! The CX4200 is easy to use,...

Light in weight and price

Addition to 'light' in price, Kodak EasyShare CX4200 is really light. Without the two AA batteries Ni-MH (or one CRV3 Lithium batteries), weight EasyShare CX4200 is only 200 grams. The form is tiny (10.9 x6, 4x4 cm) and also add convenience to bring...

I've had this camera for just more than a year and it has pretty much given up the ghost. It worked pretty well up until about 6 months ago when I put in 2 alkalines and it took about 12 pictures, then it refused to turn on. I put in 2 ni-cd's straight...

CX4200 - VERY bad battery life

I like the automatic orientation feature and the size. The menu on the back is also easy to use. Prefer the button/menu system to that on my DX3600.Battery life VERY BAD. Tested 3 CX4200 cameras by placing freshly charged batteries in them...

Kodak EasyShare CX4200

This is a good camera, especially for up close shots where it's clear and vibrant. I definitely recommend this if you are just going to be using it for fun; taking pictures of yourself etc. Hobbyists, pass this one up.

Up-close shots are detailed and colorful. The flash is good. It's built like a more expensive camera.

Not good for hobbyists who want to take pictures far away (landscapes etc).

We need a camera with a minimum of fuss. We are not camera experts so the quality didn't matter that much. We wanted decent photos that we could send to folks, family and friends back home easily. We purchased the port which makes it super easy to ...

Kodak EasyShare CX4200

Simply put and in the most straight forward, point blank fashion possible: Children 12 and under: Perfect, it takes pictures allows you to view them, print them, send them. You'll have nothing to complain about because you wont know any better. 13 and...

It's light weight, honestly can take decent photos, and is extremely simple to use. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this is the camera to buy for your little Jenny or Johnny's 10th birthday.

The software lacks even the most basic modification options. Resizing, for one, cannot be done with the kodak software provided. If you want to use this camera, and again it does take DECENT pictures. I suggest you have another graphic editing program....
