Kodak DC265 Review

As many people know the digital camera market is hot with the "2 megapixel buzz", and many were surprised that Kodak didn't jump on the same bandwagon when releasing the the DC265, however it may be noted that Kodak only changed the last digit...

Digital Cameras - Kodak DC265 Digital Camera Review, Information, Specifications

The Kodak DC265 is an evolutionary product, basically an enhanced version of the groundbreaking DC260, as it's model number indicates. The impact of a year's worth of user input and feedback is very apparent though, in the numerous minor enhancements...

Kodak 265- Simply Wonderful!

I received my 265, in early 2000, as a gift (from myself). It was THE best gift that I ever got... from myself. My first experience with a digital cam was with a Mac 1-megapixal something or other. The mac wasn't even worth the plastic it was molded...

Wide variety of menu options.Great feel and balance.

Slow from pic to pic (common to the times).

Diaper bag essential

I have packed this in my diaper bag, to the park, to the mall, on the plane. It has never failed me. I was devoted to my Minolta 35 mm for years. I love the auto focus point and click camera but I want high quality photos. Both of these cameras give...

My workhorse

For openers, I want to give a solid pat on the back to Kodak's customer service. I bought my DC-265 from an estate, and all it had with it was the camera and battery charger, plus the standard memory card. Kodak took care of my needs without question,...

ease of use, customizable O/S, good quality image & color

not as ergonomic as it could be

Great pix, but a couple of notes

First things first, this camera will deliver great digital pictures, not the equal of a 35mm SLR, but better than you'll need for putting on the web, and great for recording works in progress (a building, a painting, a garden...)

Great image quality

Some ergonomics/design issues
