Review: Kodak EasyShare DX3900 Zoom Digital Camera

Ian Waugh takes a neophytic view of Kodak's latest mass-market digicam

But these won't bother everyone and in any case, this is a very kool Kodak kamera. It's just about as point-and-shoot as you can get yet it takes exceedingly good pictures.

Kodak EasyShare DX3900

What's in the Box

EasyShare system convenient ; Very good photo quality ; Manual shutter speed control ; Nice lens accessories available ; Good value for the price

EasyShare dock is another $80 ; A bit on the slow side ; Only a 2X optical zoom ; No movie mode

I am pleased to report that the Kodak EasyShare DX3900 is a vast improvement over the DX3600 I tested last month. In addition to getting a 3.1 Megapixel CCD, you get a lot more features that you come to expect from other cameras in this price class...

Disappointed

We've owned our DX3900 for approx. 3 years (purchased new at CompUSA) and before going to purchase another one I thought I'd write up a review. Our DX3900 has seen moderate use in a variety of conditions but usually is handled by someone in our family ...

Ok camera

This camera fell apart pretty fast. The construction is very flimsy and all plastic. I would suggest going to a better brand. The good part about this camera is that it has a very easy to use cradle which also recharges the battery automatically. ...
