Inexpensive, Basic

Nice camera if you want a decent digital camera which doesn't cost a fortune and it won't break your heart if you lose it.

Nice, light, cheap camera which will be great for anyone starting out. You can view through the viewfinder or you can look at the display panel on the back

When you use the zoom, you have to use the display panel; you cannot see the zoom through the viewfinder. I found this disconcerting

Great Starter Camera

Excellent for technologically challenged. Neat and simple, well organized interface.Easy to use. Quality is good enough for day to day stuff. Has USB and SD card interface neatly tucked in the camera

Software is annoying and bulky. Quality is not comparable to other 3 megapix cameras

Consumer review (newegg.com)

not recomended

your basic 3.2mp point and shoot budget cameras (the market is flooded with these things and the components are all probably the same) MEGAPIXELS DO NOT DETIRMINE PICTURE QUALITY

its shiny? + Newegg is teh Pwns

picture quality is bad, lots of digital noise (probably from bad compression), like other reviewers said it eats batteries, options are lackluster, quite thick & heavy, plastic thing over lens is tacky, etc

great camera!

Definitely get rechargable AAs. I was able to take 320 pictures with 2 rechargables, as opposed to maybe 30 without. I also recommend a memory card - for every 128 MB of memory you can take about 150 pictures, a good deal! This camera is highly...

The main con is the lack of optical zoom; this can be a bigger pain than you would expect. Another is the lack of sound with videos, but whatever, if you want high quality videos you're going to need a camcorder anyway

You get what you pay for.

Good camera for the price. Great number of megapixels, batteries are included, takes great Get it if you're a poor college student like me

The only cons are for the camera itself. There's no direct zoom button, you have to press a different button to access it. Took a while to figure that out. The LCD is a little pixellated, and the photo gets weird too when you zoom in, even before...
