Kodak Easyshare Touch M5370 review

The lack of controls (and model name) alludes to the fact that operation is largely down to the prodding of a 3in, 230k-dot LCDtouchscreen. While the likes of Samsung and Sony also offer touchscreen compacts the Kodak M5370 is one of the least...

Image wise, results are a little soft. Normally Kodak colours are bright and warm but on the Touch M5370 we found them subdued. For low-light photography, stay at ISO800 or below to avoid issues. Although it’s not as revolutionary as other cameras here...

Kodak EasyShare Touch M5370

The Kodak Easyshare Touch M5370 is able to capture good images in decent light, but its touch-screen interface is poorly conceived and implemented, which makes using the camera a bit of a chore in any mode other than Auto.

Inexpensive for a touch-screen camera. Large LCD. HD video capture. Simple-to-use image sharing feature.

Subpar touch screen. Slow performance. Uses microSD memory. Poor low-light performance. Limited to digital zoom during video recording.

Performance and Conclusions No speed demon, the M5370 requires a full 4.6 seconds to start up and take a shot, requires you to wait 2.4 seconds between photos, and the shutter lag—the time between pressing the shutter and the camera taking the photo—is...

The Kodak Easyshare M5370 is a touch-screen digital compact camera with a 16 megapixel CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom lens with a 28mm wide-angle setting, and 720p HD video recording. Using an accelerated share system that now incorporates direct upload...

Kodak's M5370, with a 16 megapixel sensor and 3-inch touchscreen, certainly sounds like a great bargain for under $100. Image quality is alright if not great, but initial reports complain about the camera's responsiveness. The camera takes much too...
