Excellent image quality, particularly zoom photos.Powerful 12X optical zoom.Excellent image stabilizer.High definition EVF.2.5-inch LCD screen.Complete set of capture modes.Flash shoe.Available RAW and TIFF formats.

Some noise at 200 ISO and beyond.Wide angle images a bit soft.Fairly slow to record images.

Colour reproduction can get quite oversaturated

A pretty solid advanced camera. It is functional, comfortable, has all the features one could expect, and above average sharpness. It is only let down by overly saturated pictures.
