The V570 uses its extra lens to create 180° panoramas from just three photos. It's a head spinner

The V570 is a fine camera but isn’t for everyone. The ability to take wide-angle photos is a great feature, though there's a slight trade-off in image quality compared to similarly priced snappers

Kodak V570 dual lens digital camera - EXCLUSIVE

Kodak's latest camera doesn't promise a huge optical lens that is capable of zooming in on the action, but two SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH C-VARIOGON lenses. But are two lenses better than one? Pocket-lint was given exclusive access 1 month before the launch...

Two lenses, small, compact, easy to use

Looks like a bit of a gimmick

The V570 is a strange kettle of fish. On the one hand the addition of the second lens comes across as a gimmick that is nothing more than a headline grabber to get some interest in the Kodak brand, but on the other, the photographer in me says that the...

Kodak EasyShare V570

The Kodak EasyShare V570 is the first point-and-shoot camera to include two separate lenses and CCD sensors: one set for wide-angle shots and the other for telephoto.

Two lenses and CCD sensors, long zoom range, wide-angle lens, good image quality, bright LCD, easily accessible controls, sharing feature helps you mark images, in-camera panorama stitcher

Camera must switch lenses while zooming, two lenses take up space, weak flash, no USB port, dock needed to attach the camera to a Mac, short battery life

The Kodak EasySHare V570 delivers high image quality and provides a wide zoom range in a compact package, but short battery life and a few quirks reduce its appeal.

Kodak V570 Dual Lens Review

If you've ever wondered why your landscape shots never seem to be able to reproduce the grandeur you felt on location, chances are because your digital camera could not capture the whole vista.

Kodak EasyShare V570

A unique dual-lens design offers wide angle shots that have not previously been possible in compact digital cameras.

Well, needless to say the wide-angle shots are above and beyond what has been possible on compact digital cameras before: to get those kind of shots would normally require an SLR.

Like many other compact digital cameras, the V570 happily claims a 5x zoom, of which not all is optical.

Kodak EasyShare V570

Another worlds first, Kodaks duel lens camera allowing two cameras for the price of one. The V570 is a stylish camera with looks that command attention.

Review: Kodak EasyShare v570

It may not have all the bells and whistles of its bigger brother the v610 but the v570 has one feature that is going to make anyone who loves the outdoors give it a try...

Wide lens, excellent build quality, stitching mode.

Screen is slightly blurry, defocused areas of pictures can look smeared, zoom lens is a little short.

I started off with this camera thinking it was just a smaller cheaper v610 but really it has a character of its own. The ultra wide lens sets it apart from pretty well anything else on the market and if that's what you are looking for then this is the...

Wide angled shooting, Panorama stitching made easy, Great design

Image quality not quite as good as we'd like

A great, compact camera with a stunning design. Perfect for people who want to try their hand at wide angled shooting.
