Kodak EasyShare V705 Dual Lens Camera

If you want a wide angle lens and a zoom option, Kodak's dual lens system is worth a look.

It’s a pretty little thing too. Measuring 101 × 49.8 × 20.4mm and weighing 124g it’s one of the slimmest and lightest cameras on the market. It has a minimalist undecorated style to it, a simple rectilinear matt black and chrome box with square corners...

Kodak EasyShare V705 digital camera

Following on from the V570 Kodak has announced the launch of the V705, a model that takes the same form factor as the previous model, but adds 7.0 megapixels rather than 5 into the mix. When Kodak first launched this form factor almost a year ago we...

Wide Angle lens, good quality images, large screen

Larger than most compact digital cameras, flash has tendency to over bleach images

When Kodak first launched this form factor almost a year ago we must admit we had trouble grasping whether or not it was a gimmick or not. Two models on, including the 10x zoom V610 and it seems that the design and offering is working for Kodak. The...

Kodak EasyShare V705 review

Do two lenses make a camera twice as good?

Ultra-wide focal lengths ; Bright, well-exposed and colourful images ; Value for money

Grainy, mushy and imprecise images ; Zoom rocker is small ; The processing delays are intrusive ; Controls seem designed for style over function

The V705 makes a stand for innovation, style and sheer egg-head lunacy

Kodak EasyShare V705

This is a dual lens camera but unlike the previous unit of this type I reviewed the two lens on this unit do two totally different jobs.

It is 10x5x2cm and weights only around 150grams. It is matt black and silver. The display is 5x3.8cm giving the diagonal 2.5inch size. It is a 7.1MP offering that according to the Kodak site is able to produce a 30x20inch print. It has 5x optical zoom...

Kodak Easyshare V705

Wide angle lens ; Low shutter lag times ; Ease of use

Focusing dips towards the edge of shots ; Lens distortion creeps in with wide angle lens

The Kodak Easyshare V705 is an innovative digital camera with an ultra wide lens incorporated in a very compact body. The camera scores highly for ease of use and excels when it comes to low shutter lag times.

Kodak EasyShare V705

If double vision is something that kicks in after a few pints, it would come as no surprise to hear that Kodak's camera designers have been hitting the bottle. The V705 is a terrifically strange piece of kit, boasting two lenses

Can the V705 triumph over it's predecessor? We find out...

This is a good compact for point-and shooters who want plenty of creative options, but don't want to fiddle with manual controls

Kodak V705 Dual Lens Review

With the Kodak V705's ultra-wide angle 23mm lens, you can capture wide vistas, plus a unique in-camera panorama stitching requires only 3 pictures for a full 180° coverage. Use 2 or 3 shots stitched together for real estate pictures.

Kodak EasyShare V705

The V705 makes a stand for innovation, style and sheer egg-head lunacy. You might not care for the Kodak's austere design, dual-lensed awkwardness or average image quality, but any camera that pushes boundaries while raising a smile deserves to find an...
