Kodak Easyshare Z1275

Just when we thought the megapixel race was slowing down, Kodak has kicked it up another notch with their latest advanced camera, the Easyshare Z1275....

12 megapixel sensor, Small

Some fringing, Noise and colour could be a little better, Sluggish at times

For those after a small yet powerful camera to capture high-resolution shots, the 12 megapixel Kodak EASYSHARE Z1275 will do the trick. Its pictures aren't the best we've seen, but they should satisfy many users.

Kodak EasyShare Z1275

The EasyShare Z1275 is the flagship model in Kodak's Z-series, boasting 12-megapixels, 5x optical zoom, digital image stabilisation and 64Mb of internal storage as well as the ability to record high definition video.

Decent zoom lens ; HD video

Terrible zoom rocker ; Subpar screen ; No optical image stabilisation ; Terrible battery life

The Kodak EasyShare Z1275 has a respectable lens and plenty of potential, but is let down by excessive corner-cutting. Features such as optical image stabilisation are sorely missed, while the poor screen and plasticky build scream of a camera bodged...

Kodak EasyShare Z1275

Bought as a replacement for my previous camera that was identical but only 8.1 Mp. Deliberately chosen because all of the buttons and controls were the same as I was used to but the image quality was better. Light and easy to use with all of the...

The rear screen is almost impossible to view the image being taken on any day when the light level is at the point where you would want to take a photo. I find myself guessing what the image will look like and rely on the 'ping' when the camera is...

If I read these reviews before I got this camera, I wouldnt have asked for it. My parents gave me this camera for Christmas and they also aggree on the short battery life and the blury up-close feature. Im probebly going to get a Nikon or something...

Wonderfull picture quality in dark-ish light

The battery life is terrible and I must stand far away to get a non- blury up-close shot
