Kodak Pixpro AZ401

Kodak's Pixpro AZ401 camera gives you a lot of zoom power for not a lot of money, but image quality and performance are disappointing.

Inexpensive. Long zoom range. Uses AA batteries.

Slow, inconsistent focus. Image quality suffers at moderate ISOs. Short battery life. Ineffective image stabilization. Video limited to 720p. Omits Wi-Fi.

The Kodak Pixpro AZ401 is a siren, luring you into shore with a low price and intense zoom range. But don't be fooled by its song. Image quality isn't great, and while it offers a lot of zoom power, you'll find it very hard to frame shots at 40x given...

KODAK PIXPRO AZ401 Bridge Camera - Black

Nice size grip makes it easy to hold with 1 hand

The camera runs on 4 AA batteries and would be better if it had a rechargeable battery pack.

KODAK PIXPRO AZ401 Bridge Camera - Black

Great for starting with. Not too fiddly. Instructions easily accessible online for some of the advanced settings. Really happy with the photos I've snapped so far.

Would be improved if it had a view finder, a better macro setting and a bag. But for the price I wouldn't have expected that. I'm very happy with it

KODAK PIXPRO AZ401 Bridge Camera - Black

Bought it for my daughter who wanted a proper looking camera, it fits the bill. The main functions are nice and easy to use and get to grips with straight away.

The lens cap doesn't fit properly quite often falls off in the bag, so make sure you buy a purpose built camera bag with a soft lining.

Price

Nothing is included so you'll need to buy rechargeable batteries and charger, leads to connect to laptop, case and you even have to download your own instruction manual!
