Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5

Don't judge a book by its cover. Although the design is a little quirky, the Z5 can roll out a mighty 420mm of optical zoom - and it's stabilised.

Konica Minolta Dimage Z5 review

The Z5 is a 5MP offering with a 12x zoom and Konica Minolta's CCD-shift anti-shake system for sharper handheld shots

A bit of an ugly bug, maybe, but an amazing zoom range and full-on photographic control in a camera half the size of an SLR

Konica Minolta Dimage Z5

Konica Minolta Dimage Z5 Review and Where to Find the Best Prices. Its longer zoom lens places it in the super zoom digital camera category. Also has a good range of manual exposure controls.

12x optical zoom gets you in close ; Advanced movie mode with zoom ; Pop up flash well positioned

Photos have a tendency to be dark ; Shots indoors in lowlight lack sharp focus

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5

There's a lot wrong with the Dimage Z5, from its bargain-basement construction to its average image quality. But there's a lot right with it, too, especially its superb macro and telephoto flexibility, stunning Movie mode and manual exposure modes. If you

Review of the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5 - Digital SLR Reviews

Aesthetically the Dimage Z series adopts a rather unique design; with the curved lens barrel and over-sized handgrip it is comfortable to hold and the controls are within easy reach.

Konica Minolta DiMage Z5

This superzoom has a striking design, balanced body, and rugged feel.

Good image stabilization. Unique, balanced design.

Image quality suffers in low-light shots. Somewhat slow recycle time.
