Olympus C-2020 Zoom

The C-2020 Zoom is the much anticipated update to the C-2000 Zoom, one of Olympus' best selling digital cameras. The C-2020Z uses a 1/2-inch 2.11 megapixel CCD imager to capture 1600 x 1200-pixel, 24-bit color images in JPEG or uncompressed TIF format. It

Olympus CAMEDIA C 2020ZOOM

Still image. Using BGA*3 technologies, Olympus has developed compact 32 MB SDRAM for the C-3030ZOOM - the key to recording up to five SUXGA images (2,048 x 1,536 pixels) at high speed. Sequence Mode shooting is as fast as 3.3 frames/sec., and Standard...

Olympus CAMEDIA C 2020ZOOM

Advantages: Quality Disadvantages: None It is in my opinion the best non-SLR camera on the market at the same level with the Nikon Coolpix 990. These two cameras have very similar performance and it is really difficult to choose the number one....

Nice camera

I bought the Camedia 2020 Zoom as my first digital camera. I was impressed by the fact that a camera company - not an electronics company - put this camera out and made the optics. I also liked the movie feature, that lets you record soundless movies...

Great results in automatic mode. NiMH batteries last a long time.

Many basic functions impossible to figure out on the fly. Tiny memory card.

Good while it is working.

I purchased one of these cameras as a refurb about 8 months ago, and for the first 6 months, I was extraordinarily pleased with the image quality and features of the camera. The total adjustability of all the camera variables (f-stop, shutter speed,...

When it is working, it is spectacular.

When it stops working, Olympus repair policy is evil.

The all purpose camera

I am photography buff. I admired good cameras in the 60s. Photography became one of my hobbies in the 70s. I've collected antique cameras since the 80s. I've use cameras at work from 1979 to today. The biggest one I worked with, in a print shop,...

Has almost every feature you could dream of

No camera case

I like my camera, but I'm waiting for new, improved version to drop in price...

I bought my Olympus C2020 Zoom digital camera in late January, 2000 for about $900. After adding a strap to prevent lens cap loss (I've lost 2 so far even with the strap), a battery charger, and an extra memory card, my total cost was over $1050. Lots...

Lots of features. Easy to use. Small, but powerful.

Lens cap not attached, minor design flaws. Not good for impromptu shots.

Olympus C2020, A great entry level camera

I am now celebrating my one year anniversary with the C2020, originally purchased to photograph our second child. I have been impressed with its ease of use and many features and modes and of course the famous Olympus quality photograph that it...

Excellent photo quality, easy to use, long battery life

Not very sturdy, fairly lame software

2 Megapixel, good price/quality, remote control!

This is our first Digicam, and know 4 family/friends who bought from this Olympus line of cameras, all are excellent (actually the new 2040Z can be found for cheaper price than 2020Z).

Overall near-perfection! Excellent quality, good price, easy-to-use, remote-control!

Uses slightly-slower Smartmedia memory
