Olympus FE-130 review

Olympus FE-130 If you want a simple camera, look no further than Olympus's FE-series point-and-shoot models. These cameras have no manual settings but include low price tags and helpful features for photography newbies. For example, the Olympus FE-130...

Attractive images; automatic white-balance setting produces a relatively neutral picture under incandescent lights; simple to use; handy Guide feature.

No manual settings; sluggish performance.

The Olympus FE-130 is a decent choice if you want a camera that doesn't ask too many questions.

Olympus FE-130

The Olympus FE-130 is a 5.1 megapixel (CCD) point and shoot digital camera that features a 3x optical Zoom lens and 2.0 inch LCD. It's aimed fairly and squarely at the lower end of the market with a retail price of $179.99. The FE-130 features...

No Sound???

Overall it's a good camera for beginners and its very stable and affordable. I just wish it would record sound along with video.

Well if you set it on the 'HQ' setting on 'auto' it takes pretty decent pictures. Has a built in help guide, 22MB internal memory, and a little feature that helps you take pictures in the snow or behind glass and such

No viewfinder so i have to use the battery draining LCD, the movies it records has no sound recording. I got it for Christmas so I had no say so in this purchase. The zoom control sticks up next to the shutter button so you kind of have to arch your...

Olympus FE-130

FE-140 as a sister machine, FE-130 only in part of the performance of FE-140 than some slightly less. In image sensors, FE-130 is equipped with five million-pixel CCD, but the lens with the FE-140 with a 3X optical zoom lens to the focal length...

Easy to use but the lens isn't the best

I bought this camera for motorcycle photography. As in, pull it out of the jacket pocket and take snapshots. So I wanted reasonably high megapixel count in a slim camera. I've taken some really good shots with it, a few that are worth blowing up to ...

Easy and intuitive to use.

Not the best lens I've used, and some color issues

My First Digital Camera

I purchased this little camera for myself Christmas, 2006. The two selling points for me were price and versatility. By versatility I mean, takes many different types of batteries, takes popular memory cards, has many selections for the type of picture...

Versatile, option packed, reasonably priced, great brand, takes great pictures.

Should include a neck strap instead of just a wrist strap.

Olympus FE-130 5.1MP Digital Camera

A fine pocket digital camera, although not nearly as good as the Stylus 710. The FE-130 is a stripped down version of the previously mentioned camera, intended as more of a beginner camera. It has a resolution of 5 megapixels, realistically all you...
