Olympus FE-320

It is easy to like the FE-320 for its stylish looks and feature-rich specifications. But what we like to applaud Olympus for is in making things work.

Stylish design ; Smile Shot mode ; Face detection ; Speedy performance ; Wealth of features that really work

No hardware-based image stabilisation ; Uses only xD-Picture Card ; Lack of details in highlight/shadow regions

Conclusion It's a pleasant surprise how well this shooter performed for an entry-level unit. The interface was friendly and included useful features not commonly found in point-and-shoots of this class. At AU$249, it is priced similarly to Fujifilm's...

Olympus FE-320

I had a good 2 years out of my camera until I dropped it while drunk in town one night late last year, as with the above reviews the lens got stuck. Haha definitely my fault unfortunately. Shame though, it was a good camera.

Looks good, good images

Possibly weak lens

Terrible

Mine is going on ebay very soon, before I end up throwing it and smashing it to pieces. That second delay when trying to take the shot really out weighs any good things this camera could do.

Has it's own red eye fix on the camera, which is handy as most photo places charge you to do red eye fix when ordering prints. The small size is also handy. But other than that there is not much I like about this camera.

Most pictures have red eye, doesnt take a great shot. The slight delay when you actually press the button to take a photo drives me insane! You always miss the shot. I have 2 small children so this is very annoying as the dont hold that smile long...
