All I got to say is this is a great camera. Takes great pictures and it turns on and off very fast. Had it for over a year now and I love it

Took mostly nice pictures for me, while it worked. Stopped working after the 7th month of ownership. I was very careful with it, and only used it on maybe 10 or 12 occasions

It never got any rough handling, so there is no excuse for such early failure. I'm disgusted, and I'll not buy Olympus again

Lots of zoom

I first took this on vacation, and halfway through the LCD quit working, although it was not cracked on the exterior. I sent it for repair and Olympus said I had dropped it, although I had not and there was no damage at all to the body

For such a cheap device the quality is very good

The major concern is "rebate". I sent all the required documents in July and still no rebate!!! (I have photocopies) ; Night shots are too grainy ; Battery drains quickly (but that`s not too bad) ; Pictures made from short distances get very distorted

Fuzzy pictures if fully zoomed and camera not held dead still.Not a deal breaker get out my mini tripod ; Also a long time from click till picture took. But that is true of most cheap compact and many bigger cameras

This is a very good camera for a very small price. Very easy to carry and picture quality is pretty good for a point n shoot

Shooting at night is not as great but if you think about the price it's real good deal

On the 7000, to enable certain features one needed a propietary Olympus XD memory card. Bah! But I bought one. I didn't notice in the Details view here no mention of XD, only SD and SDHC. My 2GB XD card from the 7000 doesn't fit in this 7030. Confirmed...
