Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35

With a 25mm wide-angle lens, the new Lumix FX35 captures more than ever before

The Panasonic FX35 demonstrates just how much technology can be squeezed into even the tiniest camera bodies. It combines terrific build quality and aesthetic design with a class-leading wide-angle lens, decent performance, exceptionally good low light...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 review

A comprehensive camera that takes a while to get to grips with

Plenty of features ; Improved lens

Not the most user-friendly camera ; Some photos lack focus

This camera is capable of doing a lot, but to amateur photographers, results will be disappointing

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 review

The DMC-FX35 looks stylish; we like it even more in its optional black finish. The 4x zoom starts at a 25mm setting that gives a very wide view of the world. Amazingly, there is barely any barrel distortion at this setting.

Panasonic Lumix FX35

The Panasonic Lumix FX35 is an ultra compact digital camera with a 10 megapixel sensor, a wide angle 4x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, face detection, and a 2.5inch screen.

Very easy to use ; Very compact and stylish metal body ; Very good build quality and switches ; Very good image quality - excellent colour ; Ultra wide angle 25mm 4x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation ; Intelligent ISO / Exposure /...

The Panasonic Lumix FX35 may seem like "just another compact camera" but what impresses me most about this camera is how difficult it was to think of problems with this camera. As you can see below - this camera does almost everything excellently....

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35

Has Panasonic actually managed to improve on the DMC-FX33?

A great little compact providing an excellent 25mm leica lens, produces good results and can even record HD movies.

Panasonic DMC FX35

The Panasonic DMC FX35 is a pocket camera. It has a very simple, but stylish design. The camera has a wide angle lens. This is great for landscape photos and groups of people. Picture quality is very good and this camera is well worth a closer look.

Ease of use - wide screen movies - high angle LCD screen - design - picture quality

A touch more brightness for my indoor tests

"This camera ticks most of the right boxes. Picture quality is very good, the camera is stylish and it is also easy to use. The camera also has the widest lens I have tested for a compact camera. It will also slip into a pocket."

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 Review

Panasonic's compact goes from strength to strength - 9/7/08

25mm wide angle lens ; Intelligent Auto system ; Well finished ; Reasonable price

Could do with more creative control ; High ISO issues ; Images a little soft

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 is an excellent compact and a perfect holiday camera. From class-leading ultra wide-angle shots at 25mm with little distortion, to longer zoom shots at 100mm - the range covers the majority of snaps you'd ever need, and...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35

With the latest model in its FX line, Panasonic has added some nice features but took out its excellent joystick controller. This move lands the camera right back in the middle of the pack of midrange pocket shooters.

25mm wide-angle lens. Intelligent LCD. Intelligent Auto mode has been improved. Very little noise at high ISO settings.

No joystick controller like on other F-series cameras. Small 2.5-inch LCD. No optical viewfinder. Flash underexposes images.
