Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7

Yet another high-scoring Panasonic camera? It must be a conspiracy!

Long, 12x zoom ; Well built ; HD video with stereo sound ; Versatile ; Good image quality for a compact

Smallish battery ; Video clips limited to 15mins ; Still only 'compact quality' images

Panasonic has done it again with the TZ7, producing a well-designed and exceptionally versatile camera ideal for travel, but also well suited to just about any type of general snapshot photography. Build quality, design, performance and image quality...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 review

Panasonic squeezes an HD camera into a tiny superzoom camera. But has it compromised performance along the way?

Pricey for a compact, but strong still and movie performance and a great zoom range makes this an impressive pocket shooter

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 review

Pin sharp LCD helps to improve the photos you take

Great LCD ; Excellent image stabiliser ; Sharp images

Mode dial switch placement

A solid and very usable camera that offers sharp crisp images and good telephoto action. Only a minor issue spoils the score

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 review

In most respects the TZ7 is the same camera as the TZ6, but it comes with various upgrades and extra features.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 review

Like its predecessor, the Lumix DMC-TZ5 , Panasonic's Lumix DMC-ZS3 offers an interesting combination of features, including a 12x zoom lens and 720p AVCHD video capture, in an attractive, compact body. And with better photo quality, slightly faster...

Long and wide-angle zoom lens in a compact body; 720p movies; lens can zoom during movie capture.

Very few manual controls.

As long as you don't want much in the way of manual features, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 is a very nice camera that can handle a variety of shooting situations.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 series will welcome two new models in April, the Lumix DMC-TZ7 and the Lumix DMC-TZ6 - also known as 'travel zoom' cameras. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 will be available in the UK from March 2009.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 is set to be one of the best super-zoom, point-and-shoot compact digital cameras on the market. If you've been considering purchasing a new compact camera, it's definitely plumping for this snapper — especially if you want a...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7

Easy enough to use for novices, with enough depth to keep the enthusiast happy, and a great lens to boot.

Even if you’re not interested in taking movies, the rest of the DMC-TZ7’s features – coupled with its performance – make this camera well worth the money. If we had to choose between this and the PowerShot SX200 IS, it would be no contest – the...

Panasonic DMC TZ7

There is a great deal to like about this camera. Picture quality is up there with the very best cameras in this class. It has one of the most advanced movie modes around and there are other great touches such as the quality of the LCD screen.

Picture quality - movie mode - LCD screen - very wide lens - small size for length of lens

Nothing springs to mind

I really like the Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ7. It scored very well for picture quality. It has a good range of features and is not too challenging when it comes to ease of use. I am happy to recommend this camera.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 (TZ7) review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 (TZ7 in Europe) is the last member of the TZ family by Panasonic, which combines a wide angle with a large-coverage zoom (the TZ5 already offered a 28-280mm!) in a very compact body. Today, Panasonic remains one length ahead...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 is a compact camera toting AVCHD (Audio and Video Compression for High Definition) and is a format used in some digital camcorders. It comes with improved face detection and image stabilization, and a 25mm wide-angle lens,...
