Samsung NX11 review

The 14.6 effective megapixel Samsung NX11 upgrades the original NX10, with some refining design tweaks and additional lens compatibility, a 20mm ‘pancake' plus 20-50mm zoom, launched alongside it. But although it is a compact system camera (or CSC) like...

Though the Samsung ‘NX’ range for us lacks the charm of the Olympus Pen series (including the latest E-PL2), and the approachability of the Panasonic Micro Four Thirds models (such as the GF2), things are obviously steadily improving and we haven’t...

Samsung NX11

Can the Samsung NX11 reinvent the hybrid camera category or is it much the same as the previous NX10 model but repackaged? We first got our hands on the Samsung NX11 back in January, where an extensive play with the latest hybrid or compact system...

Faster autofocus, good design, i-Function lenses

Not much is new, few current stockists

It’s all too easy to compare the NX11 to the NX10 till the cows come home. However, considering the NX11 on its own merit rather than solely as a comparative “update model”, and it’s certainly a strong camera; indeed it’s better than the NX10.

Samsung NX11 hands-on - Pocket-lint

The Samsung NX11 was announced recently and shown off at CES in Las Vegas. We were on hand to have a quick play with the new model. Following up from the

Samsung NX11 review

The third model in Samsung's NX compact system camera line brings a few subtle changes to an existing formula

Easy to use controls ; Helpful display button ; High quality viewfinder ; Captures raw

Cluttered button layout ; Not worth upgrading from the NX10

Following the announcement of the Micro Four Thirds system back in 2008, Samsung became the first company to declare that it would launch a competing NX series.

Samsung NX11 review

Samsung's NX11 is a perfect choice for those who have always wanted a DSLR but who have been put off by the sheer bulk of a ‘proper' camera. Thanks to its mirrorless body, the NX11 is smaller and lighter than any DSLR although. The traditional SLR body...

The NX11 loses out on specification in a few key areas, but offers a very DSLR-like experience in a much smaller package.

Sublime controls and a keen price, but it can't match the front runners for photo or video quality

Samsung NX11 review

Built like a miniature DSLR, the Samsung NX11 compact system camera (CSC) feels and handles like a ‘proper' camera, and as such it will appeal to enthusiast photographers and those not quite ready to make the jump from a compact to a DSLR.The image...

Samsung NX11 review

We review the Samsung NX11, third in the Korean firm's Compact System Camera (CSC) range

The overall image quality from the NX11 is very good, with the APS-C CMOS sensor producing good sharpness. Our test model was supplied only with the 18-55mm kit lens, so we’d expect even better quality results when used with one of the prime lenses....

Samsung NX11

The NX11 is Samsung's latest take on the compact system camera, slotting in between regular compact cameras and DSLRs. It features a similar design to the latter, along with a large APS-C 14.6-megapixel sensor, yet it's considerably smaller – albeit...

The Samsung NX11 is an excellent little camera. We'd still be tempted to take a proper DSLR like the Canon EOS 600D when it comes to image quality, but the NX11 has enough in its armoury – such as the neat styling, compact dimensions and impressive...

Samsung NX11

Samsung?s latest CSC has DSLR looks and image quality without the hefty price tag

The Samsung NX11 offers intuitive handling with a high standard of image quality. It?s great value for money and an ideal bridge between a compact and a DSLR
