Samsung SH100

Is this feature-rich and Wi-Fi enabled little Samsung compact the jack of all trades or the master of none?

Good image quality, Wi-Fi functionality, Fun digital filter effects

LCD monitor is very poor, Unresponsive touch-screen controls, A bit slippery in the hand

Samsung SH100 Review

It's a camera/phone mash-up as Samsung brings wireless connectivity and phone style apps to the party

Those who like the concept of taking a better quality picture than your typical smartphone and sending it as an email attachment without seconds without having to connect the camera to a PC or insert the card into a reader in the usual way will find...

Samsung SH100

The Samsung SH100 is a point-and-shoot compact camera that squeezes in Wi-Fi technology at a budget price point. Turning the “high-end technology, high price” ethos on its head, the SH100 is little more than one hundred pounds from many online stores....

Wi-Fi, Android & DLNA compatibility, budget price

Unresponsive touchscreen, reflective LCD in sunlight

The SH100’s real selling point is its low price. Although it was more upon launch, there are plenty of stores and sites listing various colour options for between £105-120. Consider all the technology that’s been squeezed into this dinky compact and...

First Look: Samsung SH100

The Samsung SH100 expands on the sort of connectivity we've seen creeping into cameras over the past few years. It is now common to have a system whereby you can mark and automatically upload pictures to the Internet on connection to a PC, but a...

Android app, PC-free backup, Wi-Fi sharing, Wi-Fi hotspot account

Might be confusing?

Samsung SH100 review

A tech-riddled camera with a 3-inch touch-screen and built-in Wi-Fi

Responsive touchscreen ; Wi-Fi capability ; Slick design ; Sharp pictures

Narrow dynamic range ; Touchscreen needs to be improved ; Over exposes pictures at balanced exposure values

As part of the Cutting Edge range in Samsung's line-up, the SH100 shouldn't really be into looks. It should be all about the technology, but what Samsung has produced is a snazzy little unit stuffed with features.

Samsung SH100 review

The Samsung SH100 offers a brilliant set of in-camera features, such as an array of wireless sharing and remote-control options, that make this inexpensive point-and-shoot stand out from the crowd - in a good way.

The Samsung SH100 is a great bargain. You can certainly find more-camera-minded cameras than the SH100, but this ultracompact snapshooter distinguishes itself from the bargain-bin pack with its wireless sharing features, fun extras, and solid image and...

European Social Media Camera 2011-2012 - Samsung SH100

This is a very small 14.2MP compact camera that makes it really easy to share your pictures and videos. Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, as soon as you have taken a picture you can use the 3-inch touch-screen to get connected to a public or private hotspot....

Samsung SH100 14Mp Wi-Fi compact camera

Review The ST1000 [1] was Samsung's first Wi-Fi enabled camera that not only allowed users to e-mail pics from a hotspot, but had GPS thrown in just to prove you were really there. With the SH100 wireless compact, the company goes beyond snap and share...

For its target market the Samsung SH100 camera seems to tick all the boxes. It is a shame that the two main disappointments – responsiveness of the touchscreen and ISO performance – go to the very core of its function. Yet I don’t think these factors...

Samsung SH100

The touch-screen compact with Wi-Fi that will appeal to a new generation of shoot-and-sharers

A fun customisable compact that takes the best connectivity features of touch-screen smartphones and combines them with quality pictures at an affordable price point.

Samsung SH100 review

The Samsung SH100 might look like a run-of-the-mill, low-priced touchscreen camera, but it ups the ante with its built-in wireless features, which include (but aren't limited to) direct uploads from the camera to Facebook, YouTube, and other sharing...

Great image quality and features for the price; Very small and light; Fun-to-use shooting modes; Wireless sharing and remote-control features

Touchscreen can be unresponsive; Has a toylike build; Uses MicroSD cards for storage; Digital stabilization only

The Samsung SH100 is a great bargain for $200. You can certainly find more-camera-minded cameras than the SH100, but this ultracompact snapshooter distinguishes itself from the bargain-bin pack with its wireless sharing features, fun extras, and solid...
