Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T30 review

A case of style over substance?

Plenty of features ; Fantastic image quality for the size

Heavy ; Small controls ; Some image distortion

The latest T-series is smarter, tougher and easier to use than its predecessors

Sony's T30 is the latest in a long line of compact snappers – and it could well be the best yet

Awesome photos from a stylish and compact package – the best in its class

Sony DSC T30

Seven megapixels with a three times zoom lens. The Sony DSC T30 fits snugly into a pocket. It scores highly for ease of use and it also has a fair bit of style about it.

Picture quality ; Large internal memory ; Style and design

Red eye ; Expensive ; Limited flash distance

"The Sony DSC T30 certainly does not come cheap. It does have a lot going for it though. High marks are scored for style, photo quality and ease of use. If you are not too worried about the price tag then this is a very good pocket sized digital camera."

Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T30 review

Attractive, functional design; optical image stabilization; solid image quality; 58MB of internal memory.

Slow f/3.5 maximum aperture; spotty red-eye reduction.

Pocket-friendly and stylish, the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T30 continues the T-series tradition of ease of use and image quality.
