Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T7 review

Straight to the top of the Weightwatchers class

Extremely thin ; Five-point autofocus system ; Crisp level of sharpness

Relatively meagre megapixel count ; Some noise

If you don't mind downsizing your megapixel count along with your camera, the Sony is a fun-sized delight

Sony DSC T7

Sony DSC T7 Review and Where to Find the Best Prices. A pocket sized digital camera. This model has five megapixels and a three times zoom lens. It is one of slimmest digital camera you are likely to find.

Super slim design ; Good overall picture quality ; Excellent in lowlight ; Minimal shutter lag

Red eye on indoor portraits ; Cradle leaves a small mark on the camera

There is a lot to like about the Sony DSC T7. It is unbelievably slim and stylish. It is a lot more expensive than other cameras with similar features and I am not sure I can justify the additional cost.

Review: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T7

Like Apple's legendary iPod, if you want as much style as substance, the Sony T7 compact digital camera succeeds.

The style, the panache, the sleek, slim beauty of this most desirable tiny object

Having to take out the battery to charge it ; Small size means it can be fiddly ; Limited flash range

There are some downsides to this camera, but the ability to take it anywhere and take quality pictures should not be ignored. It can't compete with higher-end cameras but then that isn't what it's been designed to do. It's been designed to be the...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T7

Sony's latest stylish and slim ultracompact is its best yet. This tiny yet tough shooter turned in good performances and pleasing pictures.

Tiny and stylish. Good battery life.

Daylight shots were a bit underexposed, and flash shots a bit overexposed.

Sony DSC T review

Sony DSC T

Sleek, sexy design; easy to use; large and clear LCD; solid snapshot feature set; high-quality movie mode.

Weak flash; mediocre image quality; high noise levels above ISO 100.

Snapshot photographers who prefer style over substance may overlook this camera's unimpressive photo quality.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T7

The superslim design makes it the Kate Moss of ultracompacts, but you pay a price -- both financially and in terms of the handling.

Slim, pocketable and even wearable ; Sturdy metal case ; Big, bright LCD ; All main functions accessible via buttons ; Pleasing snapshots ; Great macro, magnifying glass and movie modes

Awkward to handle ; Cryptic menus ; Separate accessories required to mount it on a tripod, connect it to your computer and charge the battery

Sony claims the battery is good for around 150 still images. We managed to capture over 300 in quick succession, with flash, and still had plenty of juice remaining. In real life you won't do that well, because you'll spend more time framing images and...
