Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77

At a wafer-thin 15mm, the stylish T77 is one of the skinniest cameras on the market

Sony Cyber-shot DSC T77 digital camera

As ultra-compacts come the Sony Cyber-shot DSC T77 a supremely pocketable at a mere 15mms thin and the slim-line design is offset nicely by a well made body that's dominated on the back by the large 3-inch colour touch-sensitive screen. On the front,...

Good image quality, metering, styling, build

No optical viewfinder, slow and convoluted touchscreen-activated menus, image noise at higher ISOs, battery life, low light AF, slide down on/off lens cover

The Sony Cyber-shot T77 looks very nice and is well made but the problems, as we have seen, make the camera a bit of a handful despite its svelte lines and this has cost it dear in terms of points.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77 review

Physical buttons on the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77's camera body are limited. The power button and camera shutter release and small, hard controller you push left or right to switch from wideangle to telescopic zoom are all that populate the top. Just...

The gorgeous slim lines of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77 will win over many fans, as will the 10.1Mp capability. However, it's the priciest of the models in our test and while its automatic functions are adept, we couldn't quickly get to our desired...

Cyber-shot DSC-T77 Digital Camera

This Cyber-shot digital camera incorporates a newly-developed lens that features a built-in handshake correction mechanism, the first successful integration of such a function in a thin 13.9 mm shell. Depending on the subject – for example, portrait,...

This 10 megapixel camera has a 3 inch touchscreen, 4x optical zoom and comes in a selection of fancy colours, hmm, nice.

We’ll be reviewing the T77 camera very shortly so come back soon..

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77

A fashionable touchscreen compact with a solid list of features

10.1MP / Colour options / Svelte / Features

Image quality / Touchscreen response

At 3in, the touchscreen all but fills the rear of the camera. The only buttons are for power, the shutter release, playback and zoom. The slender battery is good for only 220 shots per charge, and while its size makes it easy to slip into a pocket, it...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77 review

A pricey compact camera, the 10.1Mp Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77 is a slip of a thing. It has a slide down metal front cover that conceals its lens and flash.

The gorgeous slim lines of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77 will win over many fans, as will the 10.1Mp capability. However, it's the priciest of the models in our test and while its automatic functions are adept, we couldn't quickly get to our desired...

Sony DSC T77

The Sony DSC T77 is super slim. It is just 15mm wide. In terms of looks and style it gets 10 out of 10. It has a touch controlled LCD screen and is likely to appeal to anyone who is style conscious.

Design and style - touch screen control

Photos need to be sharper

This camera has a lot going for it. It is super slim and looks great. You are also likely to be impressed by the touch controlled LCD screen. Picture quality does not quite live up to the style and design, but you should still be able to take a decent...
