Sony MVC-FD90

I very much enjoy taking the pics and deleting the ones that are terrible. most of the functions are easy to learn but there are some that I just dont understand. The 15 sec movie thing is just about worthless.

3.5 floppy goes into any computer, delete bad pics, good 16x zoom

bulky, to short of battery life, confusing sometimes, bad spot for wide angle/zoom control

I wish I had bought it first

instead of wasting money on cheaper cameras. Okay, I'm a tightwad, I thought I could find something that worked well for less money. After 2 el cheapo cameras, both of which were huge disappointments, I shelled out for the Sony. I love it. I'm an...

Good Camera.

I got this camera as a present. Personally I probably wouldn't buy a digital camera myself. Reason being is that I have taken photography courses for over 3 years and even had my own darkroom in my house. My point is that with a manual 35mm camera your...

Many options. Clear pictures.

When you push the button and the actual time it takes the picture lags.Bulky.

Great Camera

I purchased the Sony Mavica FD-90 camera to replace my old model FD-7. I thought the FD-7 was good but after using the FD-90, there is no comparison. The camera can be used for so many different things, and the picture quality is just fantastic. The...

Camera is so user friendly. Has all the options.

None. Well an extra battery sure wouldn't hurt.

Buy a lot of floppies, you'll need them

I really like the MVC-FD90's ability to save pictures to floppy disk. We often go for days between times that pictures get uploaded to the net for storage and printing, and I can't even imagine needing to go back to a computer regularly to save files...

Uses ordinary cheap floppies to store high quality pictures

A floppy only stores a few photos, Memory stick option is expensive.

Convenient - but not for everybody

The beauty of this camera is storing the images on floppy disks (memory sticks optional). This allows anybody at any computer with a floppy drive the ability to instantly access the photos without having to preload software.

Diskette storage, long battery life, quick recharge

Bulky, shot lag time, limited image storage, viewfinder washes out in sun
