I have owned this and two other digital cameras in the last 3 years and this is a work horse! I do festivals and special events and portrait work. I have shot over 11,000 photos in the last 14 months with this camera and it does great work.

Excellent camera with professional features.

This is my 3rd Sony digital camera and second "upgrade." This camera is still easy in a point-and-shoot way but also offers very advanced spot metering, exposure settings and aperture control for the enthusiast.

10x optical zoom, very advanced image controls

Only 2.11 MegaPixels

The Sony Mavica FD97 is an upgrade to the Sony Mavica FD95. The two cameras are extremely similar in both appearance and use.
