Review Should you be considering Bookeen's CyBook Orizon as your new e-book reader, the only question you really need ask yourself is, do you want to pay an 80 quid extra for a touchscreen.

Bookeen has tried too hard to bridge the gap between e-book readers and tablets. As nice a reader as the Orizon is, the result is a gadget with unnecessary touchscreen text that has pushed up the price too far. ®

This Cybook is nice and light - lighter than a paperback book. With the SD card, you can carry many thousands of books right in your normal handbag. No more running out of things to read on the train. Unlike the Kindle, you are not tied to Amazon to...

I can't really think of any 'bad points'. There are extras that I would like to be able to purchase, like a case-with-a-light, as you can buy for the Kindle, but that is all.

Well designed and easy to use. Saves being locked into proprietary technology

Occasionally the library becomes corrupt on the SD card, but a quick on and off fixes that.
