When you didn't have spectacular graphics to fall back on or hours upon hours to tell a story, videogames “back in the day” had to rely on gameplay. There's a reason the 80's were a boom period for arcades, because there was a lot of good stuff being...

Space Invaders ; Plenty of other games ; Behind the scenes type stuff

No light gun support ; Not all the conversions are perfect

A damn fine collection that every "old school" gamer can't live without. Those that are interested in the history of videogames should also pick this one up. A good collection that has plenty to offer.

After 20 years bubble bobble is still cool.

 

I remembered playing 'space gun' & 'pipe it' in the arcades, but the kids decided that these(& the rest)were poor. 5 stars for bubble bobble, 2 stars for the rest.
