Audio Technica ATH-AD700 review

If you're seeking an alternative to Grado, then Audio Technica's ATH-AD700s might be just the thing

Agile ; comfortable ; lightweight ; impressive detail

Low frequencies aren't overly weighty

Fast, dynamic headphones with a level of insight rare at this price

Audio Technica ATH-AD700

Many people underestimate the differences between closed and open headphones, pegging both models in a certain series as having a similar sound. Audi...

Brilliant highs, incredible definition, quick tight bass

They leak

As a classical headphone, nothing in this price range comes close. For other types of music, you will still find yourself hard pressed to better the AD700s. Bass-heads need not apply

While their looks aren't for everyone, the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700s should satisfy many.

Considering their price point in conjunction with their sound quality, the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700s are a fantastic buy for novice audiophiles, or anyone looking for a good set of headphones for their tablet or computer at home. Additionally, they...

Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 Headphone Review

The Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 headphones are worth every penny I paid for them at Newegg. I will continue to use them daily for months to come.It is however possible that those of you with smaller hat sizes might find them a bit loose fitting. I found...

Audio-Technica ATH-AD700

The ATH-AD700s strike me as a jack of all trades. They handle everything from classical music to games with such proficiency that it is simply scaring. For $100 these headphones are an absolute steal, if you are looking for a great set of open back all...

Audio Technica ATH-AD700

Amazing sound for the price, light weight and comfy. Easily as good as headphones several times the cost.

Could probably do with just a tad more support to make them feel more firmly in place. They've never slipped off but they feel like they can sometimes.

Excellent headphones!

I chose these headphones after quite a lot of online researching. These cans always came up at the top of people's recommended list based on their performance-to-cost ratio. I like the open-air design because it lets me game while still being able to...

These sound fantastic by my standards. I'm not an audiophile but I wanted some headphones for gaming and they sound fantastic with good soundstage, making directional sounds easy to pinpoint. I'm noticing sounds in games that I've never noticed before;...

The purple color on the mesh is a little odd, but it's nothing to mark them down for. They're a little larger than I was expecting, but also nothing worth complaining about. My only real complaint is that the earpieces don't articulate when the band...

excellent

Great, balanced sound for music (that's all I use them for actually). Some people dislike the purple but I think they look pretty sweet. Sturdy enough to rest on top of a backpack and get knocked around a bit. Extremely comfortable, love the open air...

Big. My head is big so it doesn't bother me but after reading all the other reviews I realize this probably is a legitimate con for most people. These are definitely big headphones

They were nice headphones. I figured my head was a little bigger than normal since my wife says i have an "ernie head. Anyhow they are still big and non adjustable. They would just keep falling off. The sound was decent. From reviews and all makes them...
