Bowers & Wilkins P5 Headphones

The B&W P5 headphones aren't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

There's no escaping the old maxim of garbage in garbage out, but the Bowers & Wilkins P5 headphones make an iPod sound better than you have any right to expect, and for that they have to be applauded. However, they can only do so much with a...

B&W P5 review

Bowers & Wilkins have been rolling out the red carpet for our MP3s for quite some time. The B&W Zeppelin is a sex symbol of modern tech design, pumping out some of the best sound we've ever heard from an iPod dock.

B&W P5 review

Beautiful to look at, and, in the main, listen to as well, these B&W P5s are a sound investment for your iPod or MP3 player

Pretty and desirable ; speedy, vibrant sound with vocalists treated especially well

Top end can be provoked ; others sound more expansive

The P5s are wildly covetable items, and they make plenty of aural sense too

Bowers and Wilkins P5 headphones

Bowers & Wilkins struggle not to blow you away. From the most lust-worthy speakers, through to the design statement that is the Zeppelin iPod dock . The P5 step into the limelight knowing that audiophiles are going to be peering very closely at them....

Excellent design, outstanding sound quality, choice of cables, noise isolation

Cables might be a little thin, price

The B&W P5 aren't designed to be a reference grade headset for your home recording studio, which some might have expected: they are designed to be portable and for taking on the move, partnered with your iPod or iPhone. They fold flat and you get a bag...

B&W P5 review

The Brit speaker kings have turned their hands to headphones. Have they produced a pair of can-do cans or just some fancy ear-warmers?

Pricey, but the P5s are design icons and very capable to boot

Bowers & Wilkins P5 review

Audio maestro Bowers & Wilkins has made its first foray into the portable-music market with the P5 'mobile hi-fi headphones '. These luxury cans sport a quirky design and noise-isolation technology, as well as an Apple-approved in-cable remote control...

Excellent sound quality; good noise-isolation capability; sturdy construction; appealing design; useful in-cable remote control for iPods and the iPhone 3GS.

Thin and delicate cable; low end may prove too dominant for some.

The Bowers & Wilkins P5 headphones may cost a pretty penny, but they're well-built, look great and sound fantastic. Also, the in-cable remote control is a useful feature for iPod and iPhone users. If you're in the market for some high-end cans that you...

European Headphones 2011-2012 - Bowers & Wilkins P5

Bowers & Wilkins P5 noise isolation headphones treat the listener to high quality music reproduction wherever you are. The deceptively light weight on-ear headphones feature real leather ear pads for comfort and a strong metal headband. The drivers use...

B&W P5 review: design and build

Bowers & Wilkins already have the style end of the hi-fi market sewn up. Not just with the achingly cool Zeppelin, but also the eyewateringly expensive Nautilus speakers. So when we first saw the P5s, it was hardly a surprise that we had gadget lust...

Look amazing, brushed aluminium and leather style

Leather slips on your ears

Bowers & Wilkins P5 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphones

Ultra-high-end audio purveyor Bowers & Wilkins began designing consumer-level products a few years back, with its Zeppelin iPod dock ($599 list, ). Now, B&W is trying its hand at headphones. At $299.95 (list), the P5 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphones aren't...

Excellent audio performance. Extremely comfortable. Handsome design and carrying case. Relatively lightweight. Equipped with iPhone/iPod in-line remote control

Expensive. Despite the claim, offers no noise isolation

With the P5, Bowers & Wilkins gracefully enters the consumer headphone market with a stunning design that's comfortable and sonically superb.
