Beats Solo 2 Wireless

The Beats Solo 2 Wireless are exactly what their name suggests. They're a wireless version of the Beats Solo 2 headphones we reviewed last year.

Grippy design and fuss-free wireless are great for exercise use, but sound should be better at the price.

And the Beats go on… but these wireless Solo 2s fall just short of their rivals.

Bold, upfront listen ; Rich, full-bodied sound ; Very close in character between wired and wireless

Lack subtlety ; Could be handle dynamics better ; Expensive

While the balance here is much improved on earlier versions, detail and dynamics fall short of the best

Comfortable and portable enough but these cans lack the killer sound quality needed at this level

Look great, Comfortable ; Long battery life ; Great sound

Expensive ; Sound needs improvement at the low end

You're still paying a lot for a logo, but the Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones show that Beats is quickly closing the gap between style and sound.
