While it's fairly pricey at $289, the German-made Beyerdynamic T 51 p is one of the best on-ear headphones available, offering excellent sound and a comfortable fit.

The relatively compact ; is sturdily built and offers a comfortable fit along with excellent sound. It also comes with a well-designed protective carrying case.

Somewhat expensive; headphone cord isn't detachable, and you don't get an extra cord with an integrated remote/microphone like you do with some premium headphones.

The Beyerdynamic T 51 p is one of the best on-ear headphones available, offering excellent sound quality and a comfortable fit.

Finding a really good pair of on-ear headphones can be a challenge. While they're more compact than over-the-ear models, they often aren't as comfortable -- they sit on your ear after all -- and don't measure up sound-wise to their over-the-ear...

Wow! Premium performance I never expected from on-ear design!

 

Though I enjoy a comfort of big over-ear headphones, those are not always practical on the go with your portable audio setup of either smartphone or DAP. As a compromise, using on-ear headphones (sitting on top of your ears, rather than around 'over'...

Sound incredible, Fantastic passive noise isolation, Super comfortable, Very lightweight.
