The Beyerdynamic T 51 i is a smartly designed pair of on-ear headphones that sound fantastic, and is priced to reflect that.

Excellent, balanced audio performance with deep bass response and well-defined highs. Lightweight and very comfortable. High-quality carrying case.

Hardwired cable. Pricey. Those seeking mega-bass sound might be underwhelmed.

If the balanced, crisp, full-sounding T 51 i sounds ideal to you, but you'd rather have an over-the-ear pair, check out the excellent Sony MDR-1A. The Bowers & Wilkins P5 Series 2 offers a slightly less crisp, more mids-focused, but nonetheless...

Great quality headphones

 

Very comfortable headphones with a great range. Strong bass response but not overpowering. Very capable for all genres of music and great at blocking out ambient sound. Would be perfect if they could collapse down further for travelling.
