Open-back sound from closed-back wireless headphones

Smart, comfortable design ; Impressive SXFI audio technology ; Good connectivity

Bluetooth audio lags on games and video ; Fiddly set-up process ; No carrying case

Creative’s SXFI Air headphones make an impressive debut, although the SXFI audio tech works best with a wired connection and Bluetooth performance is more modest.

A hybrid wired and wireless gaming headset that seemingly offers it all - but does it really deliver in all areas?

Default sound isn't as rich as other headsets ; Lacks true low-latency wireless

An interesting upgrade over its predecessor, which adds Bluetooth convenience to an already fantastic headset. Comfort and quality is good and we only have miror moans.

We review Creative's second attempt at a Super X-Fi headset, supporting both wired and wireless (Bluetooth) connectivity and it even has a microSD card reader built-in. Let's see if it better fulfills the SXFI promise for the everyday user!

Standalone music player thanks to built-in microSD card reader ; Pretty good all-around performance ; Good value for wireless headphones

Bass can be a little dry ; Super X-Fi effect sometimes causes vocals to be overpowered.
