House of Marley Liberate XLBT review

The Marleys miss their mark with substandard sound quality – cast your gaze elsewhere

Use sustainable materials Okay build Reasonably comfortable fit

Poor sound quality Compressed and no real sense of dynamics, detail or clarity

But the real issue with the Marleys (as you’ve probably guessed by now) is the exceptionally poor sound quality. It doesn’t really matter how decent the fit is, if you don’t want to listen to music through them.

Liberate XLBT : House of Marley Liberate XLBT

This next headset is available from the House of Marley, an organisation set up to promote Bob Marley's vision of One Love, One World.

It has been quite a while since I last took a look at a Marley product. If that flaky component I call a memory is anything to go by then it was around four years ago that I reviewed one of the first products to bear the Marley branding. This was the...

House of Marley Liberate XLBT

The House of Marley Liberate XLBT Bluetooth headphones deliver seriously powerful bass response in a reasonably balanced sound signature, but do little to separate themselves in a crowded field.

Powerful audio performance with very strong, boosted bass and reasonably balanced highs. Audio cable with inline remote included.

Mega-bass sound isn't for everyone. Slightly uncomfortable for longer listening periods.

Conclusions The House of Marley Liberate XLBT are a solid choice for bass lovers, but in this price range, there are some Bluetooth headphones that still deliver bass but manage to balance things out slightly better. We're fans of the Sony MDR-ZX770BT...

House Of Marley Liberate XLBT Review: Headphones With Great Sound, Great Design

I'm here to talk about House of Marley products. Keep reading to see how these headphones hold up in our House of Marley Liberate XLBT review.

Design is fantastic, bass is very strong, overall sound is quite good

I had some odd battery issues, though that may have been an anomaly. Music with less bass can be slightly muddled at low volume.

There are definitely many options available when it comes to headphones. A few less options if you want wireless headphones, and even less if you want a really high quality pair. Some other headphone manufacturers rely on loads of marketing and paid...

House of Marley Liberate XL

Basstafarian

Exceptional with club, EDM tracks ; Built well, looks great ; No distortion, sound leakage

Muddy, unfocused bass ; Almost non-existent mids and highs ; Uncomfortable to use for long duration ; Expensive

By any standards, Rs. 9,990 is a large sum of money for any consumer headphones. Even though the House of Marley Liberate XLs look great, feel premium and are excellent with club and EDM music, I cannot wholeheartedly advise you to splurge on them....

House of Marley Liberate XL Review: Treble Trouble

Gorgeous design Good bass Great mids

Colour on the plastic scrapes easily Treble doesn't sound too good

The official price of the House of Marley Liberate XL is Rs. 9,990 but it is already available for much cheaper on Amazon.in, the company's official retail partner. The Audio-Technica ATHM50 is also available at this price point (and there is an upgraded
