Jawbone Era (2014) review: A new leader for discreet Bluetooth dialing

The improved Jawbone Era quashes background din yet remains stylishly compact.

The ; is astonishingly small, light, and comfortable to wear. The headset boasts excellent noise-cancellation and clean audio quality. The companion mobile app offers helpful and fun extras.

The Jawbone Era’s base model has short battery life and lacks a volume button. The Era's small size is tough on large hands.

Outside of short battery life, the small and comfortable Jawbone Era delivers the full package of an affordable price, excellent sound quality, and a powerful companion app.

Not great like expected from Jawbone but usable

Not at all what I expected from Jawbone and if this is any indication of where they are headed, this will be my last purchase from them.

Very comfortable, good sound

nice idea, noisy, poor software, little updates

I've been on the search for the best bluetooth headset having had many. The headphone style work well for music but not for voice. After the top reviews of the Era I purchased and its been the worst headset I've ever owned.

size, features

sound quality, dropping bluetooth connection, speaker going silent

Not worth the money

Has to be the worst Jawbone headset ever produced. This headset is totally unusable. Everyone you talk to ask to please repeat yourself or please just use the phone itself. Do yourself a favor and skip this one its not worth the headaches

light weight

product is un-usable

Jawbone has made better headsets. this one misses the mark like a golfer putting his ball into the water. their previous version of the Era was much better. Very disappointed in Jawbone for the lousy quality of the workings of this device. build...

"Horrible call quality"

The charging case is a neat idea, although I didn't keep the device long enough to use it.

People cannot hear me due to bad call quality.
