Klipsch Image X7i

Premium Klipsches deliver in every aspect of their performance

Hefty, detailed bass ; Warm, clear midrange ; Composed treble ; Upfront presentation

Could feel a little more luxurious ; Slight lack of composure to bass

Klipsch Image X7i earphones: A study in ceramics

The model a step above the popular S4i II in-ear headphones has a slicker design and cleaner sound -- but costs double. Is it worth it?

The comfortable ; in-ear headphones have sleek and durable ceramic earpieces, offer good, clean sound with lots of detail, and feature the same tangle-resistant flat cord found on the step-down S4i II model. An integrated Apple-friendly...

Bass lovers probably won't be satisfied by the amount of bass; inline-remote features aren't compatible with most non-Apple smartphones.

While their price is a little too steep, the X7i earphones are slick-looking and comfortable, and deliver clean, detailed sound.

Klipsch Image X7i

Klipsch's Image X7i earphones deliver a compelling audio experience that preserves flat response without sacrificing bass, in a lightweight, ceramic design.

Excellent audio performance with rich bass, crisp highs. Tiny, lightweight ceramic design with a secure fit. Inline microphone and remote for mobile devices.

Shirt clip might be occasionally necessary to tone down cable thump.

If the Image X7i sounds like a winner to you, but the price is a bit out of your range, consider the Harman Kardon AE—it's got the same spirit of providing rich bass without boosting it too much, and costs a bit less. The Klipsch Image X7i enters a...

Klipsch Image X7i review

Over the years, Klipsch's Image S4 line of sub-$100 earphones has received very positive reviews from CNET editors. The newer S4 II , S4i II (for iOS devices), and S4A II (for Android devices) look and sound the same as the original S4 but have a new...

Klipsch Image X7i Ceramic Headphones Preview

Klipsch just announced the launch of the Image X7i, the company's first-ever ceramic headphone. Ceramic is an unusual material for a headphone, but there is a lot here that makes sense.

Klipsch X7i In Ear Headphones Review

The Klipsch brand is well known for audio fidelity, so much so that when I received my review pair of the X7i in ear headphones our in house guitarist at the studio where I work immediately said “Wow, dude, are those for sale after you're done? Those...

In conclusion: the X7i is a well constructed pair of earbuds that, when the fit and seal was working well, sounded very good, if a tiny bit lacking in the bass department. Unfortunately the supplied silicone tips weren’t quite compatible with my ears,...

"If you can afford them or they are on sale.. GET THEM."

Most people dont understand that headphones are only as good as the source of the music. I only listen to 320+ kbs mp3 audio. The files may take up more room on your device, but you will be happier when you hear the difference. These headphones will...

Other than looking down right fancy, The sound quality is amazing. Tangle-free cable is a great improvement from previous Klipsch headphones.

Price is probably the biggest con for me. No crazy bass here which could be a con for people that don't enjoy their eardrums! :D
