Dash cam review: The Viofo A119 is a surprisingly good bargain

The Viofo A119 is an incredible bargain: just $100 for a simple dash cam including GPS, with high-quality daytime and nighttime video and other handy features. It asks only that you bring your own storage card.

Inexpensive ; Very good daytime and nighttime video ; Collsion and lane-departure warnings

No SDHC card included ; Device is not removable

Logitech G231 Prodigy review: One more budget-friendly headset among many

Logitech's G231 is a decent entry-level headset, but it doesn't do much to shake up the budget-friendly end of the market.

Budget-friendly price ; Comfortable diamond-shaped earcups ; Delivers the headset basics well enough

Cheap-feeling mesh fabric on the ear cups ; Not as modern-looking as Logitech G633 and G933 ; Awkward placement for in-line controls

And so nothing really changes. Logitech’s G231 is a perfect alternative to HyperX’s offerings—if you find it on sale, for instance, or if you just can’t stand the look of HyperX’s headsets. Or maybe you just love Logitech. Those are all valid reasons,...

Logitech G231 Prodigy Gaming Headset

Logitech's G231 Prodigy wired gaming headset offers very good audio and build quality for a reasonable price.

Excellent sound for the price. Solid build. Includes a 3.5mm splitter.

Not particularly plush or snug. In-line remote sits oddly low on the cable.

Conclusions Logitech's G231 Prodigy is a capable, well-made gaming headset for a very reasonable price. You can find headsets that feel more plush or offer a bit more crispness in the high-end, but you'll spend two or three times as much for those...

Logitech G231 Prodigy Headset – Review

The mid-range headset market is awash with very decent and less than desirable products. It's hard to innovate in this space, and judgements come down to a balance of build-quality and price. That's a sure focus of Logitech's Prodigy range at large,...

This headset is hard to sum-up, and no stranger to contradictions. Standing on its own, the G231’s design is quite appealing. Yet when lined up alongside its Prodigy stablemates it left us scratching our heads. A similar oddity presents itself through...

Logitech G231 Prodigy Headset Review — OK for Beginners

If the G230 had one big problem, it was that the sound wasn't that great. The G231 features a much better audio driver, but aside from the color scheme, that's just about the only difference — well, that and an extra $30 on the price. Personally, I...

Comfortable feel ; Decent sound ; Easy to use

No audio customization ; Mic picks up a lot of static ; Almost identical to predecessor but more expensive

The Logitech G231 feels comfortable and sounds OK, but it doesn't offer anything special over similarly priced models.

Brilliant

Described as "brilliant" by the two receiving teenagers. They tell me it's very comfortable to wear and has really good sound quality "very crisp". It appears well made and looks like it will last. Two very happy young xbox users.

Excellent product

I bought these for my 13 year old son who obviously likes to interact when he's playing his games. I wasn't sure what I should be looking for when purchasing the headphones but thankfully I chose well, as my son says they are great. Comfortable, good...

Brilliant Headphones for gaming.

Having bought Xbox official headphones from Amazon I found that they broke after 2 years. Having bought these however were a great alternative for gaming. Truly comfortable, great sound and most of all great value. The few issues I have with them are...
