Solid build. Comfortable for long periods of wear. Will fit almost any size of human head. Passable Dolby surround sound from a two-speaker unit

Better stereo quality expected for a hundred quid. Comfort somewhat tempered by the weight (355g). Mic quality could be better. Button placement is fiddly. Volume is too limited

The Logitech G35 is well-designed and sounds great for gaming, but it doesn't deliver the 7.1-channel sound it promises.

Handy controls on the headset. Flip-down microphone.

This USB gaming headset has good sound quality, but its price tag may deter all but the most hardcore enthusiasts.

Excellent low frequency reproduction ; Good isolation ; Good clarity in stereo mode ; Rugged construction ; Flexible microphone with auto-mute and mute light ; Comfortable ; Long cable

7.1 sound has positional problems, should not be used for upmixing stereo sources ; No 3.5mm jack ties these to your PC ; Windows only

If you're looking for a good headset to complement your gaming, the Logitech G35s are excellent — but keep them in stereo mode, and leave the surround sound for speakers.

Logitech have been one of the leading peripheral manufactures in the industry over the last few years, producing a range of mice, keyboards and headsets suited to almost every application. At the top-end of their product line we find the "G-Series"...
