Monster iSport Strive

 

The exercise-focused Monster iSport Strive earphone pair is well-designed for your workouts, but audio performance isn't on par with the competition.

Affordable. Gets quite loud. Moisture-resistant design.

Light on bass and overly sculpted in the highs. Lack of seal with ear canal is great for runners but not ideal for audio performance, wearing at gym.

Conclusions There are several exercise earphones, both wired and wireless, that sound better than the iSport Strive, even in this budget price range. The issue here is the lack of a real seal at the ear canal—they're basically earbuds, not in-canal...

Decent sound.

Ridiculously fiddly to insert into the ears. Very poorly designed. Yes, they stay in the ears once they are in. But lord help you if you need to take them out and try to put them in whilst you are on the moved. An absurd design.
