With so few in-ear, noise-canceling, wireless earphones out there, the Phiaton BT 220 NC is currently your best bet, but it's awkwardly designed.

Active noise cancellation and Bluetooth audio in a single in-ear package. Distortion-free, well-balanced audio performance.

Cumbersome design to accommodate the wireless and noise-canceling features.

If it's the best noise-cancellation circuitry in an in-ear pair you're after, the Bose QuietComfort 20/20i should be your pick. If it's a great pair of wireless earphones in this price range you want, the Jabra Rox offers solid Bluetooth audio...

Wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling, killer looks and killer sound? This is the Phiaton BT 220 NC wireless active noise cancelling earbuds review!

Active noise cancelling. Design is premium and elegant. Materials are quality and well made.

Controller is a little bulky. Price point is high though value is there. Battery life could be a little better.

The Phiaton BT 220 NCs are some wicked awesome earbuds and are on the higher priced end of the spectrum. The sound is top notch, and the design is also top notch killer. The addition of active noise cancelling sweetens the deal here and it works really...

Review: Phiaton's BT 220 NC earbuds may sound good but are awkward to use

 

Phiaton's BT 220 NC earbuds will certainly do the job for people who need a pair of Bluetooth headphones for their iPhone or iPad, but some basic inconveniences keep it from being something to recommend.

Easy pairing ; Loud, crisp audio ; Fantastic noise cancellation

Badly-designed button layout ; Stiff metal clip ; Short remote cable ; Mediocre bass performance

Simply put though, earbud shoppers should probably look elsewhere. Sharp audio and excellent noise cancellation are meaningless if actually wearing and using the 220 NCs is cumbersome.
