Pioneer's latest headphones are all about that bass

Sturdy design ; Detachable cable ; Decent passive sound isolation.

Overwhelming bass ; Lacks clarity in mids ; Uncomfortable design.

The SE-MHR5's may have all the functionality of a high-end pair of headphones, but their poor sound quality make them hard to recommend.

The pricey Pioneer SE-MHR5 headphone pair sounds amazing, but isn't terribly comfortable when worn for long time periods.

Excellent audio performance with robust bass response and crisp high frequency presence. Ships with two removable audio cables.

Pricey. Can feel uncomfortable over long listening sessions. No inline remote controls for mobile devices.

So the Pioneer SE-MHR5 sounds wonderful, but what about that price? After all, most headphones in this price range sound wonderful, but many are more comfortable over long listening sessions and several are made with more luxurious materials. If you...

Really great looking and comfortable product.

 

I really like this product, it has a great and deep sound whilst playing a mixture of genres. Turning the volume up doesn't distort the sound, it's clear throughout the songs. They look great, are really comfortable and come with a handy compact case...
