Razer Hammerhead Pro V2

 

Razer's Hammerhead Pro V2 is a solid set of earphones, but without a boom mic, it fails to impress as a gaming headset.

Powerful, sculpted audio good for both games and music. Generous amount of accessories for the price.

In-line microphone suffers from cable thump, can't replace the boom on a conventional gaming headset.

On the other hand, the Hammerhead Pro V2 (and the standard Hammerhead V2, which lacks the mic entirely and costs $20 less) serves as a very good set of earphones if you just want to listen to music. But there are plenty of very good budget earphones...
