RHA SA950i Headphones Review

It would be fair to say that professional-grade audio and consumer-grade pricing are two characteristics that are usually considered to be mutually exclusive. In the SA950i pair of headphones, RHA aim...

Excellent audio quality ; Great balance between deep bass and high treble ; Comfortable, freely-adjustable fit ; Lightweight and rugged ; Clear speech-recognition from the in-line microphone ; Good set of input functions via the microphone-based...

Can cause ears to get irritatingly warm after a short period of time ; Input functions via the microphone-based buttons don’t work with all common devices

KitGuru says: A well-balanced set of lightweight headphones that provides excellent audio quality at a good – mid-range – price point.

RHA SA950i review

You may have never heard of RHA -- short for Reid and Heath Acoustics products -- but it's a small Scottish headphone company that makes some pretty decent products for affordable prices. We've taken a look at some of its in-ear models, including the...

The RHA SA950i on-ear headphones are lightweight, offer a comfortable fit (especially for on-ears), have a detachable cloth-covered cord with a built-in Apple-friendly remote and microphone, and they sound good for the money. You also get a three-year...

Earcups' glossy finish may get scratched over time and the headphones don't fold up for storage.

While the RHA SA950i may not excel in any one area, it's an all-around solid on-ear headphone that won't break the bank.

RHA SA950i

The RHA SA950i is solid headphone option for bass lovers on a budget.

Quality audio performance with no distortion at top volumes. Affordable, but doesn't feel flimsy. Removable cable adds value. Cable has inline microphone and controls for iPhone, iOS and Android devices.

Can be uncomfortable over long listening periods. Highly-sculpted frequency response not for purists. Vocals on certain genres can sound a bit muffled.

RHA SA950i Headphone Review

It's hard for me to believe that the RHA SA950i on-ear headphones only retail for $60. Sonically, they perform much better than their price would indicate - I can only imagine what they'd do for $200.

Fantastic sound ; Light ; Easy to operate controls ; 1.5m braided cable doesn't transmit sound

A bit bass heavy

RHA SA950i Headphones Review

Today we are taking a look at RHA's SA950i's which unlike the MA450i's they are an over-ear type of headphones. They are designed to be extremely light and easy

– Price ; – Great sound quality ; – Very comfortable ; – Lightweight ; – In-line controls and microphone

– Mostly made of plastic ; – No carry case / bag included

When I first received the SA950i’s I was a little skeptical at how well they would sound and if they would even be comfortable at all. Boy was I impressed only after a few hours of use! Most importantly let’s talk about how they sound. For being so...

RHA SA950i On-ear Headphones

The RHA SA950is pose an alright value for money ratio if you use Apple i-devices. Unfortunately, there is no Android option, although it would only take minor modifications to the already separate cable. The bass on these supra aural headphones is...

i-device remote, 3 year warranty, Good bass, Good wearing comfort, Light weight, User replaceable cable, Durable cable

Comfort not perfect, Midrange and treble performance not ideal, No Android option, Build quality less than desirable for the price

RHA SA950i On-Ear Headphones Review

Not everyone here can afford professional grade studio headphones that will rock your wallet up in the high hundreds, but I could be wrong. However, what I can promise is that nobody is coming to us to find the cheapest and worst quality headphones...

RHA SA950i Headphones Australian Review: Elegant Excellence

The headphone market is a cluttered one. You can head down to your local electronics retailer and be bombarded with choice. In-ear, over ear, buds, earpods, on-ear — the list is endless, and depending on what you end up deciding, the cost can be...

Yes. For the money you pay versus the sound quality you get, this is a no-brainer.
